Very saddened to learn of the recent death of Mike Nevins.

Mike was the Worplesdon County Councillor for a number of years, served as Mayor and was an excellent & matchless Chairman of the GBC Planning Committee.

He took an active interest in our Allotment campaign, visited the site several times in the early days of WBDRA and gave us lots of good advice and his support.

We found him always good fun, attentive & considerate (excellent qualities in a councillor); he was also a self-confessed "dahlia and leek" man.

We will miss him and he will be a very very hard act to follow as a Councillor.
