This is not Guildford (yet) but it could easily be so. The Waiting List for some sites in Guildford has had to be closed then re-opened with the net effect of the number of people wanting an Allotment plot not going down.

Many other people have given up as sites near where they live, eg Aldershot Road, have an extensive Wait list.

With the average age of Allotment enthusiasts going down, hopefuls on the Guildford lists may have to wait a very long long time indeed,
